Xhentiana Muskaj (1994) is a young author from Albania. In 2022 she had her debut with the novel ‘Four men’.

Muskaj has been considered a promising author both in Albania and Kosovo.

 

She received the ‘Best Prose Work’ award presented in the Women’s Words contest held by Albas Publishing House, which operates in Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia, with the motivation:

 

‘For the original and modern narrative; for the psychological play and the rich language.'

Xhena Muskaj

Xhentiana Muskaj holds a degree in Journalism and Communication from the University of Tirana. During her studies, she became a recipient of the Dritan Hoxha Prize from ''Top Channel'', one of the biggest media channels in Albania. She then received her MSc in Media Marketing at the University of Tirana.

For the last three years, she has focused on leading anthropological studies. Muskaj has also had two exhibitions; one was dedicated to the pollution of the Gjanica river, while the second was about violence against girls and women.  Furthermore, she has made two short video documentaries.
